ever implemented for OpenGL2 driver, lots of code debt, best to
instead just keep improving the overlay system instead which is
already available for most video drivers

Allow compositor disabling on X11 fullscreen through _NET_WM_BYPASS_COMPOSITOR.
...
Note: KWin doesn't bypass compositor on override-redirect windows, so enabling windowed fullscreen is necessary.
